Babette Rothschild, M.S.W. is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has been a practitioner since 1976, and a teacher and trainer since 1992. She is the author of the best-selling The Body Remembers--The Psychophysiology of Trauma and Trauma Treatment as well as The Body Remembers CASEBOOK--Unifying Methods and Models in the Treatment of Trauma and PTSD, Help for the Helper--The Psychophysiology of Compassion Fatigue and Vicarious Trauma, 8 Keys to Safe Trauma Recovery. She is the editor of W.W. Norton's 8 Keys to Mental Health Series and a member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She maintains a private practice in Los Angeles while continuing to lecture, train, and supervise professional psychotherapists worldwide.
